    The beginning of the interview process was fairly easy. I was able to speak with the recruiter for an initial phone screen. I was then selected to speak with the hiring manager via phone to discuss my past experience. After 3 phone interviews in 4 weeks, I was asked to come in for an in person interview. I met the hiring manager. She was phenomenal and I truly felt inspired when speaking with her. She was well spoken, respectful of my experience and really seemed excited to speak with me. I received great feedback from everyone I spoke with, but because of their lack of urgency, I started to look elsewhere. After a few more weeks, they asked me to stop by again to meet with the Director of HR. They asked me to fill out an actual application and to prepare for a background check. The Director was also extremely professional and very kind. She even set up some time to chat post interview with other members of the team. However, after 4 months of back and forth interviews which included great feedback, I knew something wasn't right. Why would it take them so long to make a decision about a candidate. Are they really this unorganized? I made it known that I was moving to NYC and was ready and willing to make my move to work with them. After 3 phone interview and 4 in person interviews and no communication for about 1.5 months, I received a phone call and was rejected because they said they found someone else. The interviews themselves, were wonderful, but their lack of urgency and lack of respect for my time, travel and effort, I really felt slighted in their determination. I have mixed feelings about ever applying for one of their positions or companies again. The position, interviews and company seemed great, but the way I was treated during the interview process makes me thankful they chose to move in another direction. Please be considerate of your candidates time, effort and needs. A 4 month long interview process for a non Director or Leadership position is too long. I would have had a better outlook on them if they would have rejected me after my last interview. However, they choose to not provide any type of feedback for months, but let me know to keep checking back.
