    1 .Flexible office hours and great team of colleagues
    2. The system we setup for clients has lots of functionality, specifics and possibilities which make the job very diverse and challenging.
    3. The client's we work for are mostly marketeers, which are great fun, and are often very happy with the system.
    4. Company and management culture is very innovative and refreshing, they dare to do things different. (e.g. unlimited holidays, feedback and communication, etc.)

    Minpunten

    1. For more senior employees (e.g. >5 yrs working experience) there's limited inspiration from internal role models

    Stay focused and don't launch too many pilot initiatives that don't make it past the announcement. They come across as "launched & forgotten" instead of "launch & grow".

    - Unlimited Holiday Policy, Flexible Hours, Massages

    - Developers are forgotten

    - They focus more on different departments like Marketing for instance, when they should invest A LOT MORE in Developers and Product Designers. (not brand designers)

    - Difficult to improve yourself, you're stuck on the same squad forever.

    - When you talk to HR about something, an idea or whatever, it gets lost in the air.

    - You work on a great new product, and out of nowhere, it gets cancelled. And you get to keep working on Legacy, how fun.

    - Salary is lower than average. No Bonuses.

    - Agile Coaches. haha.

    - Lots of developers leaving, wonder why.

    Chris is a good guy, a good CEO in my opinion. But other higher management positions don't make good decisions.

    Invest in development. But it's getting corporate now, so a bit late.

    Pluspunten

    If your an internally motivated person (vs external), its perfect as you have the freedom to set your own tasks and deadlines. Free lunch is great to save money. Some very smart and talented people in on-boarding and product teams that float the company.

    Minpunten

    Everyone in senior management is more concerned with being likeable than doing their job. Budgets and attention get dedicated disproportionately to marketing/PR/events and the Amsterdam office. In roles where no real qualifications or experience is required, like marketing, they hire based on youth and good looks and nothing else. A lot of things we spend money on, like the Onbrand event and Remote week, is for them and nobody else. CEO needs to grow up and reward the people who actually MAKE the product and keep the business affairs in order, not just hire new marketeers who seem like they just graduated from high school where they were in the popular clique.

    Stop pretending your a start-up! Get processes and structure in place to make sure the right people progress. Hire older, more old school, hardworking people and give promotions to people who aren't american or Dutch sometimes! Get rid of frat boy culture and act like a proper business.

    Minpunten

    - Bullying in the office. Even if you report it bullies face no consequences b/c they are friends with the CEO.
    - Politics is a big part of the company culture.
    - People that provide honest feedback and are a voice of reason in the company are not listened to.
    - Everything changes frequently and change is not communicated. I get this is an agile company, but agile does not mean changing strategy twice a day.
    - Cooperation is not fostered - each team wants to shine by running their own initiatives rather than working towards a common goal.

    Employee turnover is sick. We've lost 30% plus. It's even worse that the good people leave
    For those who are left, I feel that people are more focussed on "having a good time" at work rather than actually doing their job and this is frustrating for someone who takes work seriously
    Bynder does NOT evaluate its employees based on performance
    If you are a friend to the CEO you can show-up when you want without the need to do any work. These people (± 15 folks) kill and impact the culture and morale. They are toxic. Complaints can be raised and no action will be taken. Even sexual harassment isn't being taken seriously
    If you work here for more then 6 months you know you don't need to take any company change or new direction seriously. It will be reverted quickly without communication
    The people who DO care and provide honest feedback to the management team will be ignored and bullied away or fired.
    I've read reviews on Glassdoor and unfortunately the negative ones are true. Around the beginning of April the CEO was really angry about the reviews on Glassdoor and I've heard rumours that the management team needed to write positive reviews. I've been asked by someone from management to do the same.
    Don't window dress to pretent you are cool and you are doing stuff to make this a better place. Bynder owns to solve this stuff to its employees
    The response from the CEO on glassdoor to negative glassdoor posts is a joke since nothing of this is new. We've all shared that in the surveys and meetings. I know some of my friends who left shared this in their last interviews with HR but apparently nobody cares since nothing has ever been done.
    The reason why I post it on Glassdoor now is that I hate to be asked to post something positive while we need to take action and it is time to take action before the last good people at Bynder are being impacted and leave or that the Webdam team sees what they got themselves into.
    We've lost several dozen of people over the last months due to our company culture
    Since no action is taken to the complaints raised internally, nobody in the company will take the management team serious anymore.
    They've hired external consultants in Amsterdam to see how we can rebuild the culture but again these are the friends from the CEO so there is NO trust and they party party party with everything you need to use during a good party. There isn't any trust amongst my peers and we joke about the consultants and the parties that involve a lot of things that Amsterdam has to offer.
    Don't try to make people happy with stupid and fake promises that you will get promoted or that you can earn Bynder coins. That's been voided and now we get fake options from the company
    It's a shame that such a nice and potentially cool company is going down and no action is been taken

    The CEO only cares about his external visibility. Brags in a financial magazine "quote " and on television. Pretending that Bynder is a unicorn and a billion dollar company. The company is rotten. All executives are gone.. They've fired finance, sales, HR, legal... nobody is left...
    The only good person left is the old CEO from the company we acquired. Let him run the show and many people will stay

    Employees, employees and employees start thinking about them and act to make this a better place
    Don't lie to your team
    Have a vision that's solid for a long period of time. Longer then a couple of weeks
    Get some experienced management (Re-hire another good CMO) and don't promote your friends
    Reward performance and punish bad behavior
    Get rid of people who are bad for the company
    Act towards what you pretend to be
    Kill the inner circle and hire competent people

    The running joke on the floor is that the CEO cares more about what people think of him. The latest running joke was his quote in a Dutch magazine where he says that other company CEOs are fools if they don't care about their employees. So please practise what you preach if you mean this!

    Pluspunten

    This is a great place to work. The company is very flexible in terms of work/life balance, working remotely and vacation time.

    Employees are measured by output as opposed to inputs. Everyone is given a lot of autonomy and freedom to make decisions as it relates to their responsibilities as long as they keep the company and its clients best interests in mind.

    Compensation is very competitive and fringe benefits are excellent. Lots of snacks, beer fridge, catered lunches, great parties and the offices are awesome. The employer match on the 401k is also strong.

    Not only is working here super fun, the company is on track for lots of growth in the near term. Very exciting times at Bynder.

    The company is global and sometimes struggles to communicate across time zones. It's not an easy thing to do and although its not a huge problem here, its definitely something we need to work on.

    Your idea's matter and can turn into actions, ability for those that strive to succeed to move into desired roles, great HR policies with unlimited vacation, generous med/dent/life/401 , challenging environment that pushes you, rapid growth SaaS tech sector, great VC support, good location and most importantly, really great people that are fun to work with

    Bynder is under a period of rapid growth which comes with a lot of change. Some people aren't made for that.

    Keep adapting and evolving your mgt style/team as we grow. There are some great new leaders being brought on board and lot of really good talent being promoted. I have a super positive outlook for the company over the next 5years.

    Ik werk bij Bynder (Korter dan een jaar)

    Pluspunten

    I really enjoy working at Bynder because of the trust that is given to me and the autonomy to create and implement new processes. After proving myself during the first couple of months here at Bynder, I've been given the freedom to work on projects that have a large impact on the employee base. Of course, I am supervised and the ideas are discussed and debated, but I never feel like I am not allowed to voice my opinion. My colleagues are incredibly passionate and really care about the quality of work they deliver.

    Because we are growing so quickly, things change quite rapidly. This means that the structure also is in a transition phase, but I'm willing to deal with the ambiguity if it means that we can have a stronger foundation moving forward.

    Don't forgot to constantly communicate new changes, over-communicate if necessary.
