    Pluspunten

    - they make amazing games, best of the best
    - really professional atmosphere, corporate-like, not emotional, like in some other places. There will be no situation where somebody will yell at you etc. This happens a lot in smaller firms.
    - overtime WAS paid and it WAS voluntary. You could say "no".
    - parking space, cantina, quite nice office

    Minpunten

    - nice office, though very crowded
    - low salaries. Junior workers earning very, very little, way below industry standard in Poland, senior workers earning 70% of what they can get in other AAA Polish studios. Generally people work there for the project despite the salary.
    - because there is so many people, you don't feel like the project is "yours". You are just the guy who textured jackets of peasants, or animated 3 monsters and a siege tower. And then somebody else took those and tweaked them more, so your original work is not even really in the final game.

    Not really, at the time I worked there it seemed they are doing whatever they can in those conditions (giant company, giant project, small budget in comparison to, for example, Destiny or GTAV)

    Pluspunten

    - some folks were cool and talented, but usually they had quit soon..
    - parking lot
    - social events where ok

    Minpunten

    - really toxic, 'corpo' atmosphere where you have to watch out for what you say and to whom
    - many people from management are unexperienced, it seems that the only reason they were promoted is that they knew someone from management before. All good people are leaving this company sooner or later.
    - chaos in decision making process
    - tons of your work and engagement will be lost, because things are started and ended in chaotic, thoughtless way
    - micromanagement
    - hard crunching times, which are direct consequences of the decision making process
    - many people is afraid to take any responsibility( especially management guys ), so at the very end decisions are often made by regular workers, who simply have a hard deadline to achieve and cannot wait
    - if anything fails( and fails a lot in this company ), 'the guilty' has to be found - obviously, he/she is always found among regular workers...
    - work is generally boring and repetitive - most of the time you will spend on re-implementing things that were cancelled a few weeks later. You cannot simply use old stuff, because in the meantime most of the things has changed or are gone, because the general vision has changed, etc
    - if you want to gain unique experience and learn something new - you won't find it there
    - unfortunately, things are getting worse and worse with every month IMO

    Well, management is generally close-minded, so I won't waste my time on giving them any advices - they won't listen anyway.

    You'll meet nice and talented folks. You'll also see them run away once they'll catch on with what's going on here.

    Minpunten

    Almost everyone from higher and middle managment have clear game vision - regrettably those visions are contradictory. Since those visions are clear no need to discuss them.

    CEO is only one willing to take responsibilty and make tough decisions. He also erratic and chaotic person with no interest in gaming.

    None of these noblemen are open to feedback as anyone bellow their level is here merely to take orders not to "criticise". At beast you'll be listened to no effect.

    Design changes based on cloud patterns, dice roll or what was in TV the night before.

    This company has over 400 workers but it's still run as rock band or castle: there are few pals around whom everything is revolving. The rest are expandables.

    Crunch here is insane. We read about Bungie's crunch and ME:Andromeda crunch and laughed. And crunch will hit current project hard. Because spreadsheet planning + incompetent overssers = hemorrhoids, bad back and depression.

    Just retire, or focus on family. Please leave making games to poeple who actually who play them, make them and love them.

    The company still looks good on the resume, but this is likely to change to the opposite in coming months

    Work-life balance is non-existent at the company

    Decision paralysis that leads to them being made at whim of studio director and often reversed afterwards

    Large turnover, experienced people leave in frustration and are not replaced by employees of equal skill

    "Feels over reals" attitude perpetuated by HR and forced upon engineering which drives skilled people out of the company

    Extremely politicized work environment, where connections and position trump knowledge and experience

    Low salaries, even in comparison to other game development studios in Poland

    At this point it seems that the entire management would have to diametrically change their behavior to repair the damage which doesn't seem likely

    You would imagine "working at an AAA project", but it's no pro at all. Stay away.

    Minpunten

    - Lack of motivation to improve, despite hearing the need for it at every corner.
    - Gut-feeling decision-making; lack of reasonable approach to proposals or feedback.
    - "Culture of blame" approach instead of culture of feedback and praise.
    - Absurdly long crunch preferred over life/work balance.
    - Lack of motivation palpable at every level.
    - Higher management closed in an ivory tower; unwilling to hear feedback from the lower tiers.
    - Organizational chaos.
    - Absent, erratic CEO.
    - Organization that aims at survival; prefers to provide high bonuses to higher management rather than invest in the company long-term.

    Pluspunten

    - Amazing people: team is smart, agile and always wants what's best for the project; it's super rare to find friends when you are older and I think it's possible here
    - Fantastic projects: I'm excited to work and deliver something special at the end of the road and I can't wait for the people to see it, always.
    - Ownership and input: the work we do is ours - for good or bad. When it's bad, we can always count on help and advice. I feel I can always ask and comment on something even from the highest up.
    - Work/life balance getting only better: the studio learns on its mistakes more often than not
    - OK pay for the country: yes, it could always be better, no, it's not bad
    - Vegetarian and (soon!) meat canteen: sometimes it's only all right, but it's cool to eat something fresh and healthy
    - Free fruits two days of the week: I appreciate it
    - Social Fridays: even if us, introverts, are not using them well, we appreciate them, especially when the work is harder than usual
    - Studio is getting better at understanding its employees: I don't think that will change in any other direction than for the better
    - English is more common than ever
    - Some teams are simply friends by now: integrated through hard work and common interest it's a pretty amazing and uplifting sight

    - We are in a great place to build amazing things.

    From time to time I ask myself what other place could give me opportunities, time and people like this one.

    Minpunten

    - People want to deliver the best on every step of the way, which leads to compressed timelines and overtime - from both sides
    - Flat hierarchy is now expanded a bit: we have the right people in the right places, but I'm afraid we may lose the connection between frontline and high ground
    - Amazing people sometimes leave, tired of problems that could be avoided : (
    - Some teams are less integrated than others - which may be obvious, but it may be simply hard
    - I have not bloody idea what architectural vision is for the whole studio: right now we have few separate concepts, which is most of the time funny, but c'mon, it's also ridiculous : D
    - Very basic hardware for developers, for some reason
    - Unclear rules for salaries
    - Some people/team related decisions are made for the wrong reasons

    I can feel it's better than it was, but there's still road ahead.

    Listen more to your employees, especially those at the low level. Throwing production at problems is just moving them.

    Pluspunten

    - creating an internationally recognized product, the company will always aim for AAA
    - people - it's like working in a sitcom
    - events - beer fridays, cinema outings, company picnics
    - relaxed atmosphere
    - strong sense of connectedness with your team / the company
    - flexible working hours (work at night for all we care, just get your job done)
    - company product merchandise as presents to all employees
    - it's GAMEDEV!
    - company's relation with people who buy their products is really pro
    - if you're invested enough, you can go from 0 to full-pro at this company

    - management - some of these folks are just not cut out to manage other people, micromanaging, communicating poorly, etc. (this includes all management levels)
    - people - it's like working in a sitcom
    - salaries (low, as a tradeoff to many 'mandatory' benefits)
    - drastically uneven work load periods - expect crunch, be ready for times when there are just no tasks, waiting for other teams to finish theirs
    - the company structure seems to be getting more and more vertical

    - listen to your employees
    - be more humble
    - you don't need to control / decide everything on your own - talk it out with people, look for the best solution
