Dexter is a small software company in AI for renewable power generation. As this is quite a new field of business the priority of Dexter is to excel in just a few market conquering products. So hardly any short-term deliverables under pressure and way more long-term view building. For machine learning specialists this means plenty of research which accounts for up to 80% of some data scientist’ time. For software engineers, we try to create high quality products and there is a lot of room to invest in making things scalable. Furthermore, the company aims to recruit mostly seniors/mediors which means that all team members are quite autonomous and there is little need for hierarchy. Lastly, the company is very flexible in terms of working hours and it’s fine to work without overtime (mostly nobody works after 18.00). People also actually care about the mission statement of the company which is to help the energy transition.

Does not have retirement program. You will have to arrange that yourself.

In general a very interesting company to work for. The following points sum up my experience: * Very flexible work environment, you can work mostly remote or mostly from the office, nobody will ask you questions about this. * Very interesting problems to work on * If you like to work in the energy transition space this is the place to be * Friendly environment, everybody is really nice and chill

If you like working in an exciting industry, in a company with a friendly, warm and fun atmosphere, where you will be challenged to work on high tech AI related matters. Then Dexter is the place to be :-)
