Minpunten
- Little preparation in advance, as you don't know where you'll be headed from week to week or with whom you will be working
- After two summers with ACLE, I've had nothing but positive experiences with Italian host families, although I have known other tutors to "get the short straw" with families that aren't super engaged
-If you don't have an outgoing personality, constantly being around new coworkers and families could be draining. The work itself also requires some "performing" in front of groups, so that also calls for comfort with public speaking and being silly in front of others. Emphasizing the importance of a personality fit, because I think people who are comfortable with constant change and new faces probably enjoy it more than others.
- Many tutors are put "on hold" for a week or two during the summer, so that means no income during that time and a short amount of time to make alternate plans
