    - A friendly place full of well-meaning people all around. - There are plenty of events to get to know the communities around you. - You can make meaningful friendships here at the Analyst level and possibly beyond. - Your success for the most part is all about "showing up." Don't be afraid to take on new tasks EVEN if you don't know the subject well. - You don't need to learn everything in your first year to do extremely well. As a matter of fact, pick 1 or 2 things, and get really good at them. That's the best way upward at ACN. - Networking your way around. It is company culture, DO IT! - Managers tend to be super invested in the well-being and happiness of the client. - Work-Life Balance(I have heard that I got lucky). - Just like everything else, your happiness here will depend on two things: The amount of effort you put in: Showing Up! The way you choose to interpret your results: Your definition of doing well. It would also help if you avoid comparing yourself with others. - There is a certain level of freedom that comes with being a consultant. This thin veil where everyone at your clients recognizes that "you are part of their team but you are not one of them". That can be a blessing and a curse. A blessing as people will avoid over stepping. A curse, depending on your team, you may be constantly reminded of that. But it can be liberating! Say your contract says 8 hours... you can walk in at 9 and leave at 5p. Some leave at 4p-430p. While the company's actual FTEs may have to work 9-10 shifts or more.

    - It is a HUGE organization and it is growing. You will get lost trying to learn or take in everyone's advice. You will need to fine-tune your hearing to take in some and be okay with letting the rest go. - Pay at entry-level is up to par with the industry. I do believe L9 and above are underpaid by an astronomic margin which begs the question of why they stay(one of the pros) - Your success can often be how loud you scream "Look at Me!" Sometimes, I feel like I get too many opinions and not enough facts. - Networking can be demanding, especially for introverts like me. Or maybe "I am just making excuses." - Depending on your project, Work-Life Balance may be a myth.
