Bonuses to senior sales, Christmas parties and gatherings. Some nice people.

It’s been a few years and hopefully things have changed since, but when I worked here it was not the best training - the ladies in sales were very snappy most times, didn’t teach me about the products, catalog, preferred clients, or anything relatively helpful to obtain my own book of business. They really just had me running around like an intern, running up and down the stairs to get them files for quotes, from an old, dusty room full of filing cabinets, just so they could sit in their cubicles and gossip. During my interview, they said they would hire me on at $13.75 (my current wage where I was employed) if I quit and worked for them. So I quit, but then on my first day, upon meeting the sales manager, he said they can’t pay me that much and changed it to $12/hr. I tried toughing it out for a 3-4 months, but the company itself didn’t have a very stable environment and offered very little growth. The only growth I witnessed was when employees quit and they consolidated jobs, which happened at least 3 times in my short time here. After I finally got sick of being rudely bossed around and quit, they docked my final paycheck down to minimum wage, which isn’t even legal.
