Many operations positions are being relocated to India and Latin America under the guise of consolidating shared services, or focus on emerging regions, but in reality it feels a lot like just saving $$, so great, long-term employees in operations roles have been let go, losing more of the personal touch needed in HR and Recruiting. HR/TA Budgets do not allow remote teams to get together enough to build relationships, engagement, and morale. Workload and expectations increasing with less and less support and people to do it.
