Pluspunten

The Ops team is a phenomenal group of people who now how to get work done and support each other very well. One of my favorite teams I have ever worked on. Ops leads are amazing at supporting their teams and the personal growth I experienced was invaluable. The work itself is a grind and can get monotonous, but such is the life in ad-agency work. Benefits are very solid with great 401k matching and decent health insurance.

Minpunten

Pay is subpar in Ops. You will start with little and leave with little. This was the case when I was there for 2 years during the pandemic-era. Growth opportunities are basically zero unless your direct lead gets hired up or leaves the company.

Minpunten

This company is one of the most dysfunctional organizations I’ve ever encountered. The culture is entirely work-obsessed—there is no room to build meaningful relationships with colleagues, which fosters an isolated and unhealthy environment. Leadership and clients are constantly in crisis mode, creating a perpetual “hair-on-fire” atmosphere that drains employees and leaves no space for thoughtful, strategic work. A particularly concerning aspect is the incorporation of religious content into corporate and leadership trainings, which was never disclosed during recruitment. This creates an uncomfortable and exclusionary dynamic for many employees. The CEO sets the tone, and unfortunately, it is neither professional nor inspiring. He presents himself as a “Disney adult/(enough said),” but behind the quirkiness lies a volatile temper and a lack of maturity expected of someone in his position. The company is also fundamentally dishonest with its clients. Metrics are manipulated—positive data points are cherry-picked, while negative ones are conveniently left out. This not only damages trust externally but also forces employees to participate in misleading practices. Internally, the culture is paternalistic and, at times, blatantly misogynistic. Employees are treated like children, with leadership enforcing unnecessary and demeaning rules. Women, in particular, have been criticized for not wearing makeup or doing their hair for internal meetings—an outdated and sexist expectation that has no place in a modern workplace. Overall, this is an organization driven by fear, dishonesty, and performative values. Employees are not respected as professionals, clients are misled, and leadership cultivates a toxic environment that stifles both trust and growth.
