Pluspunten
The only two pros were the health insurance (however, given the downward spiral of the company I cannot see that this will last much longer), and for the most part being able to work flexible hours.
Minpunten
Incredibly top-heavy. And instead of promoting from within, always hiring outside forces to made-up positions. In five years I saw one person promoted from within. The company is suffering financially because of this (and other things). No raises unless you threatened to quit. When I left the Administrative employees were still in a FOUR-YEAR salary freeze, and since, according to ownership, they "don't make the company any money," they are not eligible for bonuses. However, since the company has not made money for several years, only very select employees received bonuses anyway. Extremely secretive upper-management. Every year employee surveys come back worse and worse and the company would note that fact to employees but ownership/management does not seem to care. I am not exaggerating when I say 90% of the employees I know there are looking for work elsewhere.
