      Pluspunten

      All customers of the company are household names, such as JetBlue/Aer Lingus/EasyJet so its nice to know that most people you know will have booked flights with the software we create. Everyone who works here is great. Never a dull time in the office. - Pay/Pension/Benefits are very good for Manchester. - Lots of complex airline business logic, which means there are lots of interesting coding problems to solve on a daily basis

      Minpunten

      - Lots of legacy code (though there are plans to upgrade). - Old-school top-down management strategy with lots of micromanagement - Very outdated software delivery practices (though in the process of updating these as well)

      Pluspunten

      Position allows you to very quickly get extensive Python experience. Work within wide variety of different environments and projects. Introduction to DevOps/Automation which is a hot job market. Huge exposure to Open Source community. Learn to quickly build and turn over Proof of Concepts. Allows room to grow. Fairly self driven allowing you to set a lot of your own priorities. Flexible hours, laid back environment.

      Minpunten

      Being self-driven, there can be periods where it is hard to find direction. Some projects hit roadblocks and become hard to drive forward. You'll be following behind me... so you have big shoes to fill (/flex).

      Sometimes, the fast-pace can get a little tiring. There's not often a chance to slow down or learn from mistakes.
