Pluspunten
Mostly the people are awesome. In any company you will always have people who don’t see eye to eye but that’s expected. The product is also very strong, just need the right people making decisions. There are some people who genuinely care about their teams and their product contributes and you can see it in their work and how passionately they speak about the product. ManagerPlus is also trying to get employee families more involved with outings and parties and stuff.
Minpunten
Communication with C-Levels. Disconnect between the sales side and everything else. It’s like the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing and the left hand doesn’t care. Separation of powers is a BIG struggle. You have people put into VP positions but they are not given the means to make any decision on their own, they ALWAYS have to run it by someone higher and wait for them to approve it (which can take weeks or more)... It really hurts when Marketing can’t do what they need to move things forward because it’s stuck on someone’s desk forever. It also hurts when trying to hire. They have a very reactive mentality instead of a proactive one so department workloads with double, sometimes triple because it takes so long to hire someone.
