A lot of things went south. I heard a lot of complaints through the grapevine, about the poor management. From what I gathered, and from my own experience, a lot of people felt underpaid and overworked, some were not being given clear expectations (lots of vague communication from the founders), and too many were victims to false promises (i.e. "we're hiring someone else soon, don't worry")
Two of the founders don't seem to actually know how to manage a team, or individuals. "Leadership" is just in their titles. They are not good at listening, which is vital to an efficient team. I remember someone practically being yelled at by one of the founders (not behind a closed door), creating a monster of a one-sided argument, and then I heard that it was normal for her to do that. That's apparently how she "gives feedback". 😳
Also, the way they handled Covid-19? Yikes.
