If you want to make money, don't work here. It is a total bait and switch. Compensation structure has changed twice in the 9 months I worked for Rocksbox and still did not even come close to fairly compensating stylists for their hard work. Managers were constantly trying to show us how the numbers work out in monthly conference calls, which all looked great, except there was never enough work to reach those goals. I rarely averaged over $7/hr. Feedback was not well received and was constantly redirected on monthly calls. A human touch, creativity, empathy are all things that Rocksbox seemed to promote until they had stylists write pre-fabricated, product-specific notes to customers then fired us all to let the robots finish the job, claiming the model 'just wasn't working'.
