First round with head of the team. Second round with junior data scientist which was all over the place unclear structure. Appears to be more data engineering than analytics. I wouldn’t recommend.

Applied Online and process took 3 Weeks. 3 Rounds in total. 1st Behavior which is taken by Engineering Manager. 2nd & 3rd by Senior Devs related to Coding and System Design respectively. I would say behavior was an interesting round where they do SWOT analysis of a candidate. Highly disappointed from Coding round. Don't worry, it won't be leetcode/hackerrank problem. They say that they will not test language knowledge but essentially they do. Expectation is that you know Typescript/JavaScript because they will share a code project and in live coding round you have to write the logic of problem and test cases too. I felt problem was over simplified and they focus more on try catch, exceptions, retry, test case syntax, public/private variable declaration. Even if you verbally explain your thought process and what you want to implement but don't know syntax fully, it will reduce your chances. System design was pretty simple. Just Have a grasp around basic distributed system concepts - caching, sql/nosql, HA vs consistency etc.

After submitting my CV, I was invited to do a Case Study/Technical questions interview with the Head of the Department and a Data Scientist. The first half of the interview was the Technical Questions and they asked me about my knowledge of statistics and A/B testing. The second part of the interview was a Case Study whereby the Data Scientist showed me the company's website and asked me to explain how I would test whether a certain feature change on the website could be tested. Overall the interview went well (because I made sure to prep a lot as I had little to no knowledge of A/B testing and statistics) and so I was invited back to do a final interview the following week. The final interview required me to do two at-home tasks, which I was then expected to present to them. One was a Data Cleaning and Analytics task and the other was to design an A/B test. The tasks were both very time consuming and I spent a lot of time preparing them for the final interview. The final interview (in my opinion) went very well, I felt as though it was a very positive experience so I was very hopeful and keen to hear back. One of the interviewers told me I'd hear back, at the latest by the middle of the following week. I waited and waited, but I received no response from them by the end of the next week. I emailed HR (a man who was utterly useless throughout the whole process, I may add) and got an automatic email saying "We haven't forgotten about you... our application process is taking a little longer than expected." So I was like, fair enough. I'll just have to be a bit more patient. After almost THREE weeks after my final interview, I had still heard nothing. By this point, I'd given up hope ever hearing back from them. How rude and unproffesional of them to demand their applicants put in so much time and effort into prepping for their interviews only for them to disrespect us and treat us like we're nothing. I will not waste my time applying for them ever again and I highly recommend anyone reading this doesn't either.

They never contacted back. The overall process was fine, screening with recruiter, super involved on the process, then another interview with VP of engineering and after the interview with the hiring team for the London office, remotely, the process sunk. Never heard of them anymore even after I asked for feedback. I elected to withdraw after I sent multiple messages but never heard an update. Total disrespect and waste of time.

Team is great - very nice people and good proper questions during the interview. First interview is mostly about the candidate and his experience. Seems like they try to know you better and what you would like to do. Technical interview isn't difficult or tricky. Amazing task for the code review. Very supportive environment during the interview. No stupid tests or home assignments. HR support was a bit poor though. Don't remember any interaction with the HR at all (only through the mail with links to interviews). I always thought that HR is more than just secretary.
