This was a solid interview, they asked some of the basic interview questions like describe yourself, experience, etc. but it was also very informative. I got good vibes from the staff. Everyone was very kind throughout the process.

The GM talked to me for about 90 minutes and explained why I should work for LA Fitness. He did not ask me about my background, experience, interests or expectations. He had hired me by the time I left. It was a really fast process coming in off the street to being hired. However this is not uncommon for sales gigs.

Applied on indeed, interviewed with vp and waited for background check to clear. Was hired same day it cleared. Easy process from start to finish. They have a lot of job openings due to high turn overs but if you are eager to make money and have sakes and fitness background, you can bring some serious pay in

Very upbeat introduction from the GM and Fitness Director. They told me about their experience running different gyms, and how their sales process works. I learned directly from the Fitness Director how she was able to come in as a Sales Counselor to running the gym in a few months.

Asked a few questions over the phone, on the exact day I sent in my application. the interview was rushed and did not seem like the recruiter was interested in me. really disappointing experience

It was a quick interview with nothing but praise and positives. I think the interviewer did a great job of digging information about me. I would highly recommend interviewing with La Fitness.

No follow up after two interviews for the position I actually applied for. I reached out and nobody ever called me back. Completely ghosted me and then offered me a position I never even applied for which was $15 less than what I actually requested.

It was a pretty quick process and the overall vibe was chill. Not like your typical stressful kind of job interview which was a surprise. I think that they are just looking for people that are passionate about the fitness industry to make sure their clients are getting the best service possible at each of the LA Fitness gyms.

Very positive and typical interview process. They ask you questions, you respond, you get to ask questions. It was a smooth process and I was notified within reasonable time if I got selected.

After answering typical interview questions, an audition was required. While auditions are standard, this is the only interview where I’ve been instructed to “teach a 20 minute class” to no one. The director sat in the back of the room with a clip board while I played my music, taught my sequence, and offered cues to imaginary attendees. It was actually fun and great preparation, but something to be prepared for going in. As a new instructor at the time, I found the clipboard and lack of participation intimidating.
