About the Team
As the Sales Director New Business at Workday Netherlands, you will be directly managing one of the two net new sales team for the Netherlands.

In this role you will also be a crucial part of the local leadership team.
About the Role
This incredible opportunity is focused on leading, coaching and mentoring a team of Account Executives selling HCM, Finance, Analytics and Planning applications into the Dutch market.
This role is highly visible within the geography and requires demonstration of leadership beyond the immediate span of control.
Responsibilities:
  • You will lead a team of passionate, enthusiastic and a successful new business sales specialists, who want to be part of one of the most disruptive cloud companies on the planet
  • You will actively coach, support, and lead a sales team around account coverage, territory management, demand generation and opportunity execution
  • You will be a key sales leader on the team focused on driving new revenue into net new Enterprise prospects.
  • Your teams will manage complex sales cycles through orchestrating internal teams of pre-sales, value management, bid management, inside sales, marketing and sales support.
  • You will implement value-selling processes alongside building up the knowledge of Workday’s products and portfolio
  • You will drive the Workday Culture and cross-group collaboration as a member of the local leadership team
About You
Key Qualifications:
  • 3+ years experience in sales leadership, ideally focused on new logo acquisition, preferably experience in ERP or other enterprise business solutions or platform sales.
  • True passion for coaching and delivering results through others in a team selling environment
  • Ability to identify sales strategies to continue to grow new business sales across all industries in the Netherlands
  • Proven ability in managing complex sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful revenue attainment
  • Ability to maintain accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and forecast data
Other Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Proven as a self-starter, fast-learner, and agent of change
  • Passion to act as a playing coach, working closely with your team on deals
  • Proficiency across a variety of selling methodologies, with existing track record of coaching or teaching these skills
  • High level of accountability in a fast growing environment
