Building on this foundation, we are currently seeking a Data Scientist/Engineer Intern to join our vibrant and innovative strategic planning team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing enhancement/expansion of our in-house resource optimization tool. This tool plays a vital role in efficiently managing resources and drivers by leveraging advanced algorithms and mathematical optimization techniques to ensure compliance with labour regulations and achieve cost efficiency. Through this assignment, the intern will provide valuable insights that directly contribute to both our long-term strategic and short-term tactical decision-making processes, thereby playing a key role in continually enhancing our operational efficiency.
Job purpose: General description
The purpose of this internship is to provide a highly motivated Data Scientist/Engineer Intern with real-world experience in software development, machine learning, and logistics optimization. This intern will have the opportunity to contribute to various aspects of our logistics optimization tool, from front-end redesign to backend setup, and from data structure optimization to implementing machine learning models.
This role is not only about executing assigned tasks but also about bringing new perspectives and innovative ideas to the table. The intern will collaborate closely with our team to improve, maintain, and diversify our logistic optimization tool while making strategic decisions for its growth and expansion.
The intern will gain invaluable practical experience, understanding how theoretical knowledge is applied to real-world problems, and play a crucial part in our continuous effort to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
