During the interview, asked basic questions about PHP (Laravel), PostgreSQL, ES6 and React. For the take-home assignment, Required to use PHP (Laravel) for the back-end, PostgreSQL for the database, React for the front-end, and ViteJS as the build tool. The task involved creating a RESTful API with PHP and Laravel, and developing a responsive UI using React (with ViteJS) that would interact with the API. A reference UI design was provided, and expected to make the front-end responsive to different screen sizes.
