What is the difference between INNER JOIN and LEFT JOIN in SQL?

INNER JOIN returns only the matching rows from both tables. If there’s no match, the row is excluded. LEFT JOIN returns all rows from the left table and the matching rows from the right table. If there’s no match, it still includes the left table's row but fills missing values with NULL.
