Learn.com taught new ways to manage workforce development and productivity. The company provided Web-based software used for administering corporate training programs, assessing employee performance and development, and developing authoring programs to help clients create their own content. Other applications included tools for managing mentoring programs and Web conferencing, as well as a library of off-the-shelf courses. It also offered such services as custom content development, consulting, and implementation. Taleo, one of the company's strategic partners, acquired Learn.com in 2010 for about $125 million in cash. The deal expanded Taleo's Talent Management product suite.
