Minpunten
I regret to say that my experience working at Genex, a part of IQbusiness, has been deeply disappointing, and I feel compelled to share my perspective on this platform. One of the most disheartening aspects of my time at Genex was the unmistakable toxic work environment. The toxicity was not only pervasive but also enabled by what should have been the safeguard against such behavior, the Human Resources department. It was genuinely disheartening to observe that HR did not stand as the gatekeeper of bad practices but instead seemed to promote and endorse them. Cronyism and favoritism were evident in the company, and it was disheartening to see that these practices continued. When it came to expressing a desire to grow in my career through training and development opportunities, I found myself repeatedly blocked and discouraged. The company appeared more interested in maintaining the status quo and perpetuating existing hierarchies rather than fostering an environment where employees could thrive and excel. This stifling of career growth aspirations was particularly disheartening and demotivating. Compensation at Genex was another glaring issue. My experience was that the compensation provided was well below market levels. It wasn't until I decided to move on and explore opportunities elsewhere that I realized the stark contrast in compensation packages. The increase I received upon leaving the company was substantial enough to confirm that Genex's compensation structure falls far short of industry standards. It is my hope that this review, in line with Glassdoor's code of conduct, serves as a cautionary tale for prospective employees considering a career at Genex within the IQbusiness organization. It is essential to carefully weigh the potential drawbacks against the perceived benefits before embarking on a journey with this company.
