No company is perfect. While we are growing, we are also learning as company, things are currently evolving, and that comes with some growing pains. It is important that you can keep a flexible and open mindset, and when going through change, know that things take time and focus on all the achievements we do make.

1) my goal was to speak to stakeholders to collect process, data Governance, profiling....etc. however the stakeholders either they left the organization, too busy at work, on vacation, not a priority. My role became unsuccessful because there was no common interest as a priority. The list of goals I had for the year were unsuccessful due to the above reasons. I advised my manager, that because my role is dependent on others, then my goals should be global across stakeholders so they would be able to help and create a smooth transition of growth towards Data Governance, quality control measures...etc. Yet nothing changed! 2) lack of growth in regards to Data Governance. 3) whenever someone leaves, they send out an email to everyone that they are leaving, even if it's someone you don't know. The duration I stayed at in TEI a lot of people left, including 3/5 main stakeholders who approved for my position. Makes you wonder, why do all these people leave? I left cuz I felt that I cannot fulfill my position as a Data Steward.
