Hired solely on nepotism. - BAD regional division managers, who are not selected on management qualities, rather, on whether or not they have a law degree - horrible work environment/low regard for staff morale - inefficient general counsel, based in Chicago - insufficient financial staff/ financial policies - general disregard of junior staff

The people at ROLI are some of the best people I have worked with. They are an inspiring mission-driven group who are always willing to help each other navigate difficulties that may arise. There is a lot of bureaucracy but once you know what you're doing, it is fairly easy to skirt your way around it. Salary and career opportunities have become increasingly transparent thanks to the Deputy Director. ROLI Senior Management cares about the satisfaction of its employees.

Minpunten

Nearly everyone in ROLI is competent and kind. There are a few bad apples who can hinder your work and some directors who clearly lack international development experience.
