They really don’t value you as a human being, just a number or vessel to hit their metrics. They really don’t want you to have a life outside of ACE- and don’t expect help when you start work. They will push you through training and you’ll find yourself traveling to and running a different store everyday (with no transportation assistance) and drowning by yourself before you know it. On bad days you can have up to 15-20 people waiting on you with a 30 min wait to get one person’s check approved. There will be more criticism than attempts to help you get better.
There is no “calling out” or leaving early, as you are solely responsible for your location that day. There are no lunch breaks either and because it’s just you in the store locked in the cage, there’s no leaving to get food.
