There is no real definition of the "full-stack engineer" role at Acko. Even when you contribute to both frontend and backend, what really seems to matter is the visibility you have through messages and emails, not the actual work. There’s a significant amount of micromanagement. Daily work often feels overseen at a granular level, leaving little room for autonomy or innovation. Favoritism is noticeable, influencing growth and recognition rather than true merit. Many senior folks lack context on their projects or products, leading to poor direction for teams and new joiners. High attrition: Most employees working in acko for 2+ years (2023–2025) have left, mainly because of these persistent issues.

Learning saturates after a certain time, type of work is heavily dependent on the team you are in.
