Pluspunten
- Salary paid on time
- Annual leave and insurance provided
Minpunten
- No bonus
- No job stability: when a project ends, AMK ends the contract and stops payment
- No career growth: not a good company for long-term employment
- Unfriendly toward foreign employees:
- They may twist their words and take advantage of foreigners’ limited understanding of Malaysian labor law and tax deductions
- When you want to change or leave your job, they do not provide an NOC (No Objection Certificate), which is mandatory for visa transfer
- In Malaysia, without an NOC from the employer, you cannot get a new job, and most companies will not even consider you for an interview
- This blocks new opportunities while the company is not paying you, creating a loop with no clear way out. At the very least, the company should allow a smooth transition to a new job if they cannot find a new project or continue paying employees while on the bench. This is a basic employee right and should not need to be requested—professional conduct should be standard
