      Large company gives the feeling of security. Believe that the company want us to do well. Tries to give us the tools to succeed.

      Minpunten

      Too big. Too slow. Prefer using methods that are proven less effective because that's just how we do it. Pay is all over the place. Should be consistent at least on a state level. Non union entities should be treated as well as union. Benefits need to be equal.

      Minpunten

      Healthcare/EMS can be demanding, long hours at times, stressful days, and workload can be heavy depending on staffing and operations. These things aren’t specific to AMR, that’s our industry in general.

      AMR San Mateo is making huge strides in changing the Old Boy culture of EMS. The operation is collaborative, cares for its employees, and acts with accountability.

      Minpunten

      Although it's much better than it was, AMR San Mateo still deals with staffing issues, primarily for medics, and forced mandation is still in play.
