Pluspunten

Fairly flexible schedule for part time with 8, 12, and 24 hour shifts. Pay is decent. Benefits available (some to even part-timers).

Minpunten

No leadership, constant change of supervisors and employees in general. One hand didn't know what the other was doing. Most of the fleet were trucks that had over 200,000 miles on them.

Career growth opportunities, supportive coworkers, opportunities to learn and develop, ability to advance if you stay engaged and work hard

Minpunten

Healthcare/EMS can be demanding, long hours at times, stressful days, and workload can be heavy depending on staffing and operations. These things aren’t specific to AMR, that’s our industry in general.

Pluspunten

AMR San Mateo is making huge strides in changing the Old Boy culture of EMS. The operation is collaborative, cares for its employees, and acts with accountability.

Minpunten

Although it's much better than it was, AMR San Mateo still deals with staffing issues, primarily for medics, and forced mandation is still in play.
