You get PLENTY of 911 calls

Minpunten

They do not care about you as an employee. They would rather pay fees to contracted counties/Fire Departments for being late to calls rather than upstaff ambulances.

Healthcare/EMS can be demanding, long hours at times, stressful days, and workload can be heavy depending on staffing and operations. These things aren’t specific to AMR, that’s our industry in general.

AMR San Mateo is making huge strides in changing the Old Boy culture of EMS. The operation is collaborative, cares for its employees, and acts with accountability.

Minpunten

Although it's much better than it was, AMR San Mateo still deals with staffing issues, primarily for medics, and forced mandation is still in play.
