The Company is large and well respected by other government agencies, makes it easier to move over to fire or other occupations

Minpunten

Large Company which means you can get lost as just another name, really depends on which ops you're stationed out of though.

Minpunten

Healthcare/EMS can be demanding, long hours at times, stressful days, and workload can be heavy depending on staffing and operations. These things aren’t specific to AMR, that’s our industry in general.

AMR San Mateo is making huge strides in changing the Old Boy culture of EMS. The operation is collaborative, cares for its employees, and acts with accountability.

Minpunten

Although it's much better than it was, AMR San Mateo still deals with staffing issues, primarily for medics, and forced mandation is still in play.
