Pluspunten

I can't think of a single one. I would rather just live off unemployment it pays better.

Minpunten

Just read everyone else's reviews they sum it up all pretty well. Trust your life to EMTs living on food stamps! No promotional opportunity. They don't pay for increased education or responsibility, no critical care incentive. Benefits suck. Lazy co workers who do everything they can to not work because they hate this job. They make money hand over fist and they won't even pay someone who saves lives a living wage. Managements answer to everything. Well go find another job.

Pluspunten

Career growth opportunities, supportive coworkers, opportunities to learn and develop, ability to advance if you stay engaged and work hard

Minpunten

Healthcare/EMS can be demanding, long hours at times, stressful days, and workload can be heavy depending on staffing and operations. These things aren’t specific to AMR, that’s our industry in general.

Thank you for the 5‑star review! We’re glad to hear you’ve found strong growth opportunities, supportive coworkers, and room to develop. We also recognize the challenges that come with the demands of EMS, and we appreciate your commitment through it all. Your advice on continued investment and open communication is valued and will be shared.

Pluspunten

AMR San Mateo is making huge strides in changing the Old Boy culture of EMS. The operation is collaborative, cares for its employees, and acts with accountability.

Minpunten

Although it's much better than it was, AMR San Mateo still deals with staffing issues, primarily for medics, and forced mandation is still in play.
