Salary & benefits are better than most smaller county services.

Minpunten

Being pulled in too many directions at once. They want to appearance of high quality but cut corners at every turn. Of course when there are issues it's the fault of the field crews.

Healthcare/EMS can be demanding, long hours at times, stressful days, and workload can be heavy depending on staffing and operations. These things aren’t specific to AMR, that’s our industry in general.

AMR San Mateo is making huge strides in changing the Old Boy culture of EMS. The operation is collaborative, cares for its employees, and acts with accountability.

Minpunten

Although it's much better than it was, AMR San Mateo still deals with staffing issues, primarily for medics, and forced mandation is still in play.
