      Amazing benefits which the wait period is only a month.

      Minpunten

      Completely unprofessional and toxic work environment that rewards horrible behavior like harassment as training or . Constant drama between the union and company which prevents both sides from accomplishing common goals. This a true hostile work environment and if there isn't already will have many lawsuits. Also there would be roaches often in the office since it is next to a dump. The overall sadness and anger from most employees is overwhelming and taken out on each with misguided management who don't have the skills or experience to help make a team.

      Minpunten

      Healthcare/EMS can be demanding, long hours at times, stressful days, and workload can be heavy depending on staffing and operations. These things aren’t specific to AMR, that’s our industry in general.

      Pluspunten

      AMR San Mateo is making huge strides in changing the Old Boy culture of EMS. The operation is collaborative, cares for its employees, and acts with accountability.

      Minpunten

      Although it's much better than it was, AMR San Mateo still deals with staffing issues, primarily for medics, and forced mandation is still in play.
