      Pluspunten

      Regular paycheck, most coworkers were tolerable. Specials events made this a great place to make extra money.

      Minpunten

      Management did nit stand behind field employees when dispatch was involved. Too many late calls, 95% of the shift were only 36 hrs for the week. Main complaint is late call after late call. Very poor management skills by the operations staff.

      Minpunten

      Healthcare/EMS can be demanding, long hours at times, stressful days, and workload can be heavy depending on staffing and operations. These things aren’t specific to AMR, that’s our industry in general.

      AMR San Mateo is making huge strides in changing the Old Boy culture of EMS. The operation is collaborative, cares for its employees, and acts with accountability.

      Minpunten

      Although it's much better than it was, AMR San Mateo still deals with staffing issues, primarily for medics, and forced mandation is still in play.
