Decent Pay and Good Benefits Benefits are actually very good compared to most companies these days. They didn't cut benefits due to the economy

They think if they give decent pay/good benefits well that's all you need. Work/Life Balance: That means you get to sleep in your own bed right? Well for now until they bring the cots into our offices. Management that cares about developing you as an employee? Heck No that might bring them down a notch Co-workers: Horrible the weirdest people I have ever have worked with. I go in every day dreading having to deal with them and they all think that of each other as well. No fuzzy warm feelings in this place folks.

Healthcare/EMS can be demanding, long hours at times, stressful days, and workload can be heavy depending on staffing and operations. These things aren’t specific to AMR, that’s our industry in general.

AMR San Mateo is making huge strides in changing the Old Boy culture of EMS. The operation is collaborative, cares for its employees, and acts with accountability.

Minpunten

Although it's much better than it was, AMR San Mateo still deals with staffing issues, primarily for medics, and forced mandation is still in play.
