      Very good exposure for someone looking to work in ems or fire

      Minpunten

      Hours and pay are bad and the insurance provided is sub par at best. Union is just a bunch of admins monkeys doing their dirty work for them. They bought out southwest just to keep the same admins who sank it in the first place

      Healthcare/EMS can be demanding, long hours at times, stressful days, and workload can be heavy depending on staffing and operations. These things aren’t specific to AMR, that’s our industry in general.

      AMR San Mateo is making huge strides in changing the Old Boy culture of EMS. The operation is collaborative, cares for its employees, and acts with accountability.

      Minpunten

      Although it's much better than it was, AMR San Mateo still deals with staffing issues, primarily for medics, and forced mandation is still in play.
