The company culture and the nature of the work allow for a good balance of group work and autonomous projects. ASET is a flat organization, so communication with upper management is easy to initiate. They are also very accommodating to employees and offer flexible hours. After working in my position for about a year, I was able to incorporate one day of telework each week. Like most companies in the government contracting space, I work at the client site and not in an ASET Partners building. They do a great job of making sure people in the company stay connected. There is a lunch every quarter, a holiday party at the beginning of the year, and they incorporate some fun challenges like a NCAA Bracket Challenge with everyone in the company. One of the greatest things about this company is that “working your way up the ladder” isn’t the only way to grow. I am very content in my role and I have no interest in becoming a Project Manager and managing people. Through the years my compensation level has grown, even though my job title has stayed the same. They respect and reward employees who work hard and are dedicated to the company. They also provide an education reimbursement which has allowed me to gain various certifications related to the position I enjoy.

You are working for the government so you are affected by their activities. During the recent government shutdowns I was unable to work. Luckily, ASET Partners does pay you from their overhead for up to five days.
