Minpunten
Very few if any companies have zero issues, almost all do. In this section I will identify the issue and possible solutions. First a disclaimer; most, if not all the "positive reviews" are probably planted by HR or an executive to keep the company's star rating high. Okay now the issues: 1. Some, not all manager's, manage their subordinates using fear & intimidation tactics. They are empowered to act this way by higher levels within the company. As a result, employees aka worker bees are on edge, which is resulting a high turn over rate. Solution: Remove, demote, or reassign these managers, where they will cause less harm. 2. The company doesn't do what is required to make employees happy and look forward to working here. The company does the opposite, subconsciously sabotage itself from the inside by insulting the very employees. Case in point: 2a. During the summer company announce a good month . As a reward employees got a free ice cream. Some found this insulting for the long hours and hard work to get an ice cream, but I guess we are kids to them Solution: don't send out an email like that, best just to say we want to treat employees to an ice-cream.. 2b. The holiday bonus was an insult and many folks talked about that or lets say its what you give a part time person working at a fast food place. I call it flavor coffee of the month bonus Solution: pony up or shut up. It would have been best to say and give nothing 2c. Holiday party was a pot luck I couldn't believe it ;perhaps some would not eat what others bring in from their homes. Solution: was it too much to ask by ordering maybe a couple of dozen pizzas in addition to a pot luck? 3. As a young person, I'm suppose to trust my manger to foster my career growth. However some act the opposite, they are never to be trust, ever. They're backstabs, talk bad about co-workers and managers to others. why? because they can and the fallout it creates by them. solution: dump these people 4. Hugh turn over rate on the engineering/ manufacturing areas and they can't fill these empty spots. As a result employee have to pick up the slack. Why is that you ask its the comments above that cause it. solution: see above 5. zero training, yeah, they'll introduce you around, but if your out of college this place is not for you. You are on your own and if you don't pick it they'll blame you. solution: Training is more that introduction it takes months and months. But wait there's more but I'm too tired to type. Bottom line this place and how I feel like I'm Peter Gibbons in the movie Office Space.
