Pluspunten
- friendly, relaxed, international and pretty young environment - projects might be interesting from time to time, depending on the department and the "luck" of being in the right department at the right moment - opportunity to follow software projects from the early concept phase up to the testing and calibration: the role, depending on the project, might involve a healthy amount of flexibility. - work life balance depends on the project, but in general is very good
Minpunten
- when in a bad project/department, work might get not interesting at all for long periods of time - lateral moves within the company might be hard - no IG metall contract, so no protection from labour union (so career progression and salary increases are not really defined) and consequently less benefits (e.g. Company pension scheme, no 13th payslip/Weihnachtsgeld/Urlaubsgeld) - pay is not bad, but absolutely far from being on par with what OEM and Tier 1 can offer with a similar level of experience, also due to the lack ok IG Metall contract - performance bonuses available only for senior roles - great culture and corporate values... But often applied only in theory - top management choices are sometimes really unclear - probably not the best place to be if you are really ambitious and look for greater career opportunities /more money
