Pluspunten
For the most part your peers are solid.
Minpunten
If you value your professional experiences and mental health avoid this place like the plague. It starts at the top. A fish rots from the head. Where do I even start. If you love having a gun to your head every day that’s got a bullet that says layoff, sign that offer letter! Will you deserve to be fired or laid off? Absolutely not. I guarantee you were certainly set up for failure. This is due to the structure of the organization and the processes, or I should say lack thereof. It also will be because there’s zero training. Even if you are performing, you may find yourself the scape goat of the month or quarter for the CSO to blame. He needs someone to pin his level of dysfunction and lack of any type of performance on. Will you be the lucky one?! You will be pushed to forecast hitting your number and then when Accruent has to answer to Fortive why there was such a big miss leadership will blame the front line. As far as diversity goes, it does not exist. If you are a woman in this organization you can count on not getting a word in edgewise, hearing completely unhinged remarks, being the first to go on the chopping block regardless of performance, and questioned/criticized more than your male peers on a daily basis. When you speak up to take advantage of the salary transparency policy you will also find out you are making less than your male peers. Respect doesn’t exist unless you are a white male. Do you enjoy commission and knowing how and what you get paid? Well don’t start working here! When you do get a commission statement, which is rare, it’ll be wrong. When you are told you will be paid backpay or on errors you won’t be. You’ll get an email with an excuse after the fact on the day you were supposed to be paid. Their own comp plan was so dysfunctional they were telling people they owed money back and couldn’t show it correctly. As of late q4 they had hired an audit company to figure out who to pay and what to pay and they still got it wrong. In my time there I had three versions of my comp plans in 2023 and somehow each were wrong. They send people that need to be working to meetings called “kaizens” where they aren’t available to their teams because they are in a room thinking about how to fix the same problem that they tried to likely fix the quarter before. It’s a complete waste of time and money. There is no support for the clients. If you are in sales you should be prepared to be in accounts receivable, technical support, customer success, legal, product, and operations. You aren’t going to have time to sell and god forbid you are not on new logo because 3/4 of your account list that you try to farm is going to hate you and your product because it’s antiquated. The implementation process is a nightmare and clients find out after they sign on the dotted line. Fortive will continue to shuffle around leaders from operating company to operating company. Instead of getting the right leadership hired they for some reason think that’s the answer. The current President of Accruent himself was shuffled there and promptly announced he thought it to be a punishment (red flag). Usually a review this scathing comes from someone who is upset to not be in the organization any longer. This is not the case. I felt nothing but relief my first morning not logging on to work at Accruent. These are just the facts and a very big warning.
