-Very mundane and routine, spend most of your day quoting not selling, commission structure poor to say the least, very little room for growth or upward mobility, pointless metrics that are monitored daily, the results of the branch are based solely on the performance of the inside sales team, if numbers are down outside sales/mgt should work harder to help numbers increase but they mostly were not around which lowers morale while adding pressure to the folks who grind 8 plus hours per day, direction of the industry makes it extremely difficult to find new customers, saturated market with stiff competition, this sales job is 100% a job one should take if they are desperate to earn a few bucks while trying to find something better.
