Moreover, the organization has made misleading promises to the parents they serve. Parents were encouraged to enroll their children and pay for the program with the assurance that specific services, like DJ classes, would be offered—yet these services have not materialized. The organization also hired staff without properly assessing their budget, which led to layoffs due to financial constraints. Despite these budget issues, they have allocated funds for non-essential projects, such as a haunted house built entirely from single-use materials, while neglecting to provide the necessary resources and supplies requested by teaching staff to support the core program. One of the more concerning actions was the termination of an employee who was tasked with an unrealistic schedule at the outset to assist with enrollment efforts. This demonstrates a broader pattern of poor management and a lack of regard for staff well-being. In summary, the CEO and program manager have demonstrated a lack of qualification in managing a team, as shown by their micromanagement style and expectation that employees should only clean up their mistakes without being involved in the program's decision-making process. Furthermore, the CEO's willingness to mislead parents to secure enrollments raises concerns about her commitment to the well-being and development of the students. Her focus appears to be more on personal image than on the educational needs of the children, which is detrimental to the program’s success and the students' best interests.
