Pluspunten
Health insurance. The people (who’s not in management).
Minpunten
No career progression. Small office with little to no qualified people to manage. Years of exposed harassment - managers giving out to people loudly. Asking about intimacies, asking details about sick days and medical diagnoses. Xenophobic comments during meetings from directors like “if you were native in English you’d understand”. People with dozen reports for bad behaviours getting promoted. Temporary contracts used to the benefit of the company. You won’t be told in advance if your contract is ending with means you don’t know what’s gonna be your life next week. Absolute silence from management creates long last anxieties since people can’t even know about their future. Once, my contract would end the next Monday and while I was saying goodbye and receiving farewell cards on Friday, I was contacted for a contract renewal. Absolute NO FLEXIBILITY for work/life balance. Strict hybrid scheme and regardless your situation, you’re demanded to go to the office. People that moved/bought houses in other counties were told by RH “have you thought about moving back to Dublin?” After denying they could work from home. The management is terrible, blind and with absolute no mind to peoples feelings and lifes. For those who worked/will work in Activision, a warning - This place DOES NOT represent Ireland. This environment of big egos, fake laugh and real tears are not what an Irish work environment looks like. Please don’t ruin your experience in this country because of an American company. All other jobs - ALL of them will have people who care about people in management and HR.
