When there was money flowing in things were great everyone thought.

The management of the firm had absolutely no morals nor respect for the people who worked there. The leadership constantly misled people on and hid the truth about the fact their own business direction was a failed one. They didn't pay employees for months on end, has numerous lawsuits against them per public record in Washington State and still to this day blames everyone except themselves for the failing of the firm. Acuity went from a 20+ employee company to a single employee, the owner in less then 12 months. That should speak for itself.

While working there, management treats you like you're thier best friend.

The company can't consistantly keep thier consultants in projects. Work/Life balance is promised but not really provided. Management throws thier consultants under the bus, at any opportunity to salvage a client relationship. Try to leave the organization and management will turn on you. They won't return your calls. Not pay/reimburse you for hours or T&E. Threaten you with legal action.
