They pay well compared to other places and are pretty flexible. The caseload can be high but it’s not as high as some places.

Minpunten

Poor management, very high turn over of entry level staff, poorly trained entry level staff, all cases are around the same time of day (late afternoon-evenings) which can make it challenging for meeting billables and providing adequate supervision

Working at Acuity Behavior Solutions has been a truly positive experience, thanks in large part to our executive director, Lindsay. She is an incredible leader with a keen eye for hiring the right people. Her intuition, extensive experience, and deep knowledge have been invaluable to the team. She has an impressive ability to predict outcomes, offers excellent advice, and always seems to be in a good mood—even during challenging times. One of the most remarkable aspects of our workplace is the healthy and supportive environment Lindsay has cultivated. The office culture is free of toxicity, and everyone seems genuinely happy and motivated. Employees are treated fairly, and there is a strong sense of mutual respect among the team. The office has also become much more organized since some key changes were made in 2025. There is better communication, and everything is running more smoothly. As a result, there are fewer complaints from both clients and medical staff, contributing to a more efficient and positive work atmosphere. Additionally, Acuity Behavior Solutions is very understanding when it comes to sick days and time-off requests, fostering a healthy work-life balance. Since the beginning of 2025, we’ve seen significant improvements, making this an even better place to work. I truly appreciate being part of such a well-run and positive organization.

That said, there is room for improvement in the communication processes between different teams and the medical staff. Strengthening these lines of communication would further enhance collaboration and efficiency. Additionally, while positive changes are already taking place in our billing department, there is still work to be done to ensure that it operates as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
