Where to begin, they were acquired and everything is all about the new guys. The atmosphere in the office is that Software Developers and anyone involved in the software side of the company is valued HIGHLY above all else, the Customer Service side of the company has the worst hours, are treated very poorly and treated like their job is disposable (which it will be since the company was purchased for their software not their client service/media analyst side of things) . The hours are horrific, 5am start times, 9-15 hour days because you need to work at home to get things done, they don't give overtime pay they try and get as much free work from you as possible. There are no bonus structures, no real raises, there is nowhere to advance because they don't have positions. There are no perks, outdated old software, slow computers, they monitor computer activity, poor office quality and layout. No real social events, staff are miserable. I would just stay away and look else where, the pay is WELL below the minimum at most entry level jobs. Don't be fooled by the job posting this is a data entry job, very repetitive, some tasks involved reading 10,000 headlines in an excel file daily, looking for one or two headlines. This job has nothing to do with PR so don't be fooled, they pray on College grads who don't know any better. Turn over rate is incredibly high, with numerous managers, senior employees and very new employees just quitting out right. Most would rather be unemployed than carry on at this company.
