      Pluspunten

      The company does possess some excellent technology and there are some very good individual contributors.

      Minpunten

      The company does not treat its people well at all. I would never recommend doing business with AWI as a vendor or even as an employee. The overriding philosophy didn't involve understanding how the people that drive the business day to day contribute to the company's overall success. Employees, contractors, vendors could not count on their income. Invoices were paid late, if at all. In business all you have is your reputation and management does not understand that.

      The co-workers were really friendly as well as helpful.

      Minpunten

      Not being able to finish certain work orders, due to not having the parts because of back orders.

      Very interesting work and some fun, unique projects. Most of the people working there were really nice.

      Minpunten

      I had some concerns about the health of the company and upper leadership. Some employees seemed valued over others for unclear reasons. Morale was definitely an issue throughout. Most people who were really great at their job eventually left to do something else. If you're a baseball fan...it felt a bit like working for the A's.
