Minpunten
The only building the camp owns that does not have Wifi is where it requires its Summer Staff boys to live
12-14 hour days consistently
7 day weeks (the second half of the summer you will work 28 days straight)
20% of your time will be spent doing actual Programs-related work, the other 80% of your time is spent doing menial maintenance work and moving 400-500 pieces of luggage 2 to 4 times every week
The highest level of leadership at the camp will always favor the campers' comfort over the staff's, at the expense of appropriate rest, recuperation and general mental health
The highest level of leadership refuses to accept suggestions for improving the staff's experience (by the end of the season, 10 Summer Staff members including myself had quit, which was more than half of the starting Summer Staff), and is content to pretend the camp's workplace cannot be made better or to cover-up obvious issues behind a façade of hospitality
