Some of the roles are fairly new, which means the rules attached to the role are very much in development and have room for more development. (e.g. the commission structure or the criteria that each team is targeted on)
Targets should be different for each team and adjusted to the difficulty of the role and what is really achievable by employees.
This could be determined by evidence shown from previous employees, e.g. the average of whatever they achieve each month throughout the whole year. and based on this number the target should be slightly higher to ensure commissions or targets are realistically achieved.
I have noticed that targets in the sales team at the moment consist of the numbers of 5 or 10 (Insert the criteria each team is targeted on)
And without disrespect to any profession, I have noticed some teams have tasks that make it more unpredictable to achieve that number.
With all this said, I believe the senior team are very open to hearing these types of constructive criticism and are always looking to improve.
